Mortgage Network, Inc. has hired
Rachelle Bourgault as a loan officer for its Portland, Maine, branch, the company announced.
The company said Bourgault will focus on meeting the home financing needs of residents in Maine as well as New Hampshire and Florida, where she also is licensed to originate loans.
“Rachelle is a fantastic addition to our team,” said Jeff Rae, manager of Mortgage Network’s Portland branch. “She’s an expert at all the latest mortgage financing options and understands our local housing market from top to bottom. I have no doubt she’ll make us proud.”
The company said Bourgault has lived in the Portland area for three years and has deep connections within the local community.
“I’m delighted to join Mortgage Network,” Bourgault said. “Being part of a company that values its employees and has high customer ratings was important to me. I found that here and more. Plus, the company culture encourages everyone to give back to their communities. This is the perfect place for me, and I look forward to helping people reach their financing goals.”
Bourgault said the Portland housing market is seeing an influx of many people moving to escape COVID-19 threats in their cities.
“They are swooping up properties quickly,” she said. “Rates are at all-time lows, which is encouraging many out of state buyers as well. I would tell anyone interested in buying a home, a second home, or even an investment property, to take advantage of these low rates and speak with a trusted lender today. It’s also worth mentioning that home values continue to rise, so it’s a great time to refinance, too.”
