Denise C. Marbach, who has four decades of experience in the healthcare and insurance industries, has been appointed to the board of directors at Title Alliance, Ltd, the company announced.
Marbach is a certified public accountant who recently retired from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was an assurance partner. In 1987, Marbach became the first female partner in the 90-year history of the founding office of Coopers & Lybrand.
“We realized that we had a need for a strong accounting perspective on our board and Denise comes with a strong history of serving on boards in that capacity,” Title Alliance CEO Jim Campbell said in a release.
“In addition to her incredibly strong resume and knowledge in the field of accounting with an insurance specialty, Denise has a very strong history of business development and management skill sets that will be a huge help as our company continues to grow. Her strong interest in education and training will be a huge help to our company,” Campbell added.
Between 1987 and 2007, Marbach established and led a healthcare and insurance practice. She is considered an audit committee financial expert under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules. Her strengths include strategic thinking and leadership of multi-size, diverse teams to grow a practice. Her functional experience includes SEC reporting, financial reporting, Sarbanes Oxley requirements and analyzing financial data.
