Hamilton National Title LLC, a provider of national residential and commercial title insurance and escrow services, announced Jerry Torr as its new vice president of business development and member of the firm’s management committee.
Torr has an extensive career as an insurance industry executive with substantial experience in handling complex claims and insurance coverage issues, and in recent years as a business development professional focusing on institutional and corporate risk and insurance coverage.
Since 1996, Torr has served in the Indiana House of Representatives as the representative of House District 39. The district encompassses large portions of Clay Township in Hamilton County and the city of Carmel. He is currently the assistant majority floor leader.
Torr was twice honored with the Government Lender of the Year Award by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the boards of Indiana Humanities, Carmel Symphony Orchestra, National MS Society Indiana Chapter and the government affairs advisory committee for the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
