The Florida Agency Network (FAN) has appointed Amanda Hersem to the role of general counsel.
Hersem will join current FAN general counsel Danny Eskanos to oversee legal and compliance matters. She will also serve as the company’s commercial attorney, where she will assist with growing the commercial real estate division as well as with training and education for clients and prospects.
Hersem joins FAN with over 20 years of experience in title insurance and real estate law, including roles as underwriting counsel for two national underwriters. Hersem started her career in her family’s title insurance business and has since gained experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, probate, eviction and other areas of civil practice. She also has considerable familiarity with all elements of the closing process, from contract to warehousing, according to a release from FAN.
“Amanda comes to us with a well-deserved reputation for combining strategic foresight with a meticulous eye for detail,” FAN President and Chief Administrative Officer Amy Gregory said in a release. “She’s not only a stellar attorney, but also a strong business leader who understands the value of teamwork and collaboration.”
Hersem shared that she was looking forward to supporting FAN’s mission.
“I’m honored to join the Florida Agency Network as general counsel,” Hersem said. “FAN has a strong legacy of excellence, and I’m excited to contribute to and support its continued growth by working closely with our talented teams and agents to drive innovation, support expansion, and deliver the forward-thinking, strategic solutions that define FAN’s commitment to its clients.”
