The 2025 Association for Title Information Management (ATIM) conference kicks off Wednesday, April 23, in Salt Lake City.
The Title Report will be in attendance, sitting in on numerous sessions as well as meeting industry members face-to-face.
Following an opening reception late Wednesday afternoon, D. Bello CEO Chief Operating Officer Andrew Acker will kick off the formal proceedings Thursday morning.
Kylie Quetell, vice president of business strategy for Rocket Close, will deliver a presentation entitled, “AI Pressure in Title: Thriving, Not Just Surviving.”
Acker will then be joined by David Price, executive vice president and CIO for Title Data, Patrick Roe, vice president of sales and client services for Property Insight, and Stacy Wilson, PMO and QA manager of information technology for The Fund / ATFS-ORNTIC, to discuss how businesses can best use data in the 21st century.
Other sessions include:
- “Fun with FinCen: Understanding the FinCen Rule on Anti-money Laundering Regulations for Residential Real Estate Transfers,” conducted by John Crowley, senior regulatory & compliance counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Co.;
- “What Is It All About? AOLs: Past, Present, and Future of Attorney Opinion Letters and Alternative Title Insurance Products,” given by Stacy Mestayer, president of Alita Group; and
- “Economic Perspectives and the Real Estate Market: Where do we go from here?”, conducted by Patrick Stone, executive chairman and founder of WFG.
The conference wraps up Friday morning with a trio of presentations focusing on various components of technology and its applications in the title insurance industry, including a look at cybersecurity with Alex Hamlin, head of information security for Qualia; the state of artificial intelligence with Pat Carney, CEO of Viking Sasquatch, and Shawn Fox, chief revenue officer for Premier One; and future-proofing the closing process with Todd Reichmann, strategy advisor with Closinglock.
