Title, mortgage and real estate technology firm Viking Sasquatch recently earned its SOC2 Type II certification.
According to research, nearly 30 percent of businesses are expected to experience a data breach within the next two years.
Having a SOC2 Type II certification minimizes that risk for Viking Sasquatch clients and stakeholders, verifying that the company has strict security controls in place to protect customer data from unauthorized access, detect anomalies and security breaches, prevent risk situations and restore damage in the event of a breach or system failure.
“Receiving our SOC2 certification marks a significant milestone for our team at Viking Sasquatch,” CEO Pat Carney said in a release. “It demonstrates our unwavering commitment to data security and compliance, ensuring our clients can trust us with their sensitive information. This achievement reaffirms our dedication to excellence as we continue to provide innovative software solutions with the highest security standards.”
Obtaining SOC2 Type II certification requires a company to be audited for an extended period to prove its compliance with security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.
