Dream Finders Homes (DFH), a Jacksonville, Fla.-based homebuilder, announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire underwriter Alliant National Title Insurance Co. and an affiliate, pending regulatory approval.
DFH Chairman and CEO Patrick Zalupski said the acquisition will allow the company to vertically integrate alongside its existing title insurance agency business.
“The collaboration of an innovative builder, strong title agency, and the Alliant National underwriting team will promote our long-term success and growth into a national competitor,” Alliant National President and CEO David Sinclair added.
Alliant National has more than 700 independent agents in 32 states and the District of Columbia. DFH builds single-family homes throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest and provides mortgage financing and title services to homebuyers.
