Newly established eRecording service provider Hopdox announced the successful completion of its inaugural eRecording in Clark County, Nev.
This achievement signals the official launch of Hopdox’s platform, which provides document recording for title companies, banks, and attorneys nationwide.
“Clark County has been eRecording since 2007, when we first partnered with Paul Clifford, who was then with Simplifile,” Debbie Conway, Clark County recorder, said in a release. “It’s exciting to see Paul return with his new company, Hopdox. We’re honored to be the first county in the nation to record a document submitted through Hopdox. This milestone highlights Clark County’s commitment to innovation and to working with trusted industry leaders.”
Paul Clifford, founder of Hopdox, expressed his enthusiasm for the company's start in Clark County.
“We are honored to celebrate this historic moment with Clark County,” he said. “Not only does Hopdox streamline the recording process, but we also introduced artificial intelligence-enabled workflows to reduce the time and effort required to index and submit documents for eRecording. This represents a significant step forward for the industry.”
Hopdox was established in 2024.
The new platform emphasizes both efficiency and security, offering advanced tools that enable users to securely record, share, and track documents, data, and fees, the company said.
Conway highlighted the benefits of working with a partner with an extensive eRecording background like Clifford.
“Hopdox’s AI-enabled workflows and their focus on providing the most efficient process possible are game-changers,” Conway added. “It’s about giving everyone involved—whether it’s title companies, banks, or county employees—a little more time back in their lives to focus on what truly matters to them.”
Clifford noted that this milestone is just the beginning of a broader mission to transform document recording nationwide.
“We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Clark County and working with other counties across the country,” Clifford said. “Our vision is to make eRecording as accessible and efficient as possible for everyone involved in the process.”
