H.B. Wilkinson Title Co., a title insurance and escrow services provider based in Galena, Ill., announced the launch of the Terrie Miller Title Agent Designation Course Scholarship, presented in the Illinois Land Title Association.
This annual scholarship will honor the life, legacy, and contributions of the late Terrie Miller, a dedicated professional and volunteer in the title insurance industry for over 30 years.
“This scholarship ensures that Terrie’s legacy of hard work and dedication continues to inspire and uplift title professionals for generations to come,” Gregory Kosin, president of H.B. Wilkinson Title, said in a release. “Her contributions to the industry were immeasurable, and we are honored to preserve her memory through this meaningful initiative.”
The scholarship will provide full financial support for a title agent employee in the state of Illinois to complete the Illinois Escrow Professional or Illinois Title Professional designation courses.
Miller, a longtime member of the H.B. Wilkinson Title Company team until her retirement in 2018, dedicated her career to the title insurance profession and made significant contributions as a volunteer and mentor. She recently passed away following an extended battle with cancer.
Miller also served as a volunteer on many committees for the Illinois Land Title Association and the American Land Title Association throughout her career.
